What I cover: I cover stories that explore social issues, immigration, the corrections system, and youth development, focusing on how policies and decisions impact people’s lives. My goal is to inform and connect with communities while shining a light on issues that deserve more attention. I’m driven by stories that can spark understanding, conversation, and meaningful change.
My background: I’m a Brazilian-born journalist who has won several national awards for investigative reporting, including recognition for my work in the Amazon region exposing deforestation and the illegal hunting of pink dolphins. I also covered the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, reporting on both the sporting and social sides of the event. My background combines international experience with a strong commitment to telling stories that matter.
