Apple and Tamarillo Crumble
Ingredients
- 1 cup stewed apple and 1 cup stewed tamarillo. Mix together.
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 50gm butter
- ¼ cup sugar
Method
Place the stewed fruit in the bottom of an oven proof dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar. Spoon mixture over cake. Bake at 190°C for 30 minutes or pale golden.
Serves 6.
