The Travelling Restaurant is pursued by Lady Gall's ship and Dr Rocket heads up the Great South River to safety. Polly tells Jasper and Beatrix, the orphan, the story of how Lady Gall came to power. Jasper realises that in fact he may be the real King and his little Sibilla, the real Queen.
