On Friday 4 April, there's a charity concert of movie-themed music and classical favourites at the Lower Hutt Town Hall. It's a collaboration between Orchestra Wellington and Rotary clubs across the Greater Wellington region to raise awareness and funds for the Lifting the Lid initiative.
Lifting the Lid, which originated in Australia, gives schools the resources they need to support students struggling with mental health challenges.
RNZ Concert's David Morriss spoke with Hannah Neman, Engagement and Marketing Manager for Orchestra Wellington, and Rotary's David Shackleton, who is also one of the founders of the Lifting the Lid Charity in Wellington City.
