The Christchurch Schools Music Festival is a massed music event for primary and intermediate students which takes place over four days - this year from 4-7 November.
On each of the four nights of the Festival, a different massed choir of 800 voices joins the Junior and Senior Representative Choirs, the Concert Band and the Orchestra to present a concert.
RNZ Concert's David Morriss caught up with Music Director Rachel Wilford on the final day of the Festival.
