The Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino in the Northern Marianas has filed for bankruptcy.

However Hong Kong Entertainment (Overseas) Investments Ltd, which owns the casino complex, says the bankruptcy filing doesn't mean it will close down, but was filed to reorganise the company.
The company listed assets of US$55 million but debts of nearly five times that.
The Tinian Dynasty closed down in September citing difficulties resulting from the drop off in trade after the typhoon in August.
