Samoa Airways has revealed a new logo as it prepares to launch international jet services.
The logo features the three colours of the Samoan flag and an adapted version of the coconut tree, which has been the symbol of the national carrier since 1959.
The airline said in the past copra was the cornerstone of Samoa's economy, but now the coconut and its by-products together with tourism were key to the country's social and economic development.
It said it was aiming to compete globally and drive tourism growth, while connecting Samoan's to their "motherland".
