Fiji Airways is already expanding on its newly-formed alliance with Samoa's renamed international airline, Samoa Airways.
It has announced additional flights into Samoa from November this year.
The Samoa Tourism Authority newsletter reported a Fiji Airways official, John Nickel, made the announcement during a recent tourism promotion event in Australia.
He said the airline hoped to include four weekly flights from Australia including flights from Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, all of which would go through Nadi.
Mr Nickel also announced special fares to Samoa during the annual Tequila Festival in September.
Fiji Airways and Samoa Airways recently signed an agreement for code sharing arrangements on most Fiji Airways international flights.
Samoa Airways will still operate separate flights to and from New Zealand and Australia utilising a plane acquired through Fiji Airways.
