Three women have been detained at French Polynesia's international airport for smuggling methamphetamine in their private parts.

Media reports said between the three of them they carried 260 grams of the banned drug.
The reports said one of the women is a 66-year-old, while the other two are in their forties.
They were reportedly detained on Saturday but no further details have been released.
