The President of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) has arrived in Beijing for his first state visit to China.

Pac News reports that David Panuelo is to meet with China's President Xi Jinping and its premier Li Keqiang.
An official FSM statement said the two governments would discuss Micronesia's "request for additional Chinese infrastructural assistance".
The president will be meeting FSM students studying in Hainan Province during the state visit.
China and the FSM have had formal diplomatic relations for 30 years.
