Fiji's Ministry of Health and Medical Services is warning the public of the potential measles risk from travellers returning from New Zealand and Australia.
New Zealand has reported around 30 measles cases, while Australia has recorded 162 cases this year.
Health authorities in both countries continue to monitor the situation.
Measles is highly contagious and can spread quickly through coughing, sneezing, or close contact.
The Fijian Health Ministry is urging the public to ensure they and their children are fully vaccinated with the MMR vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, and rubella.
"Because we have an effective immunisation programme, measles is rare in Fiji. However, outbreaks around the world, including neighbouring countries, still put Fiji at risk of measles cases," it said in a public advisory on Monday.
"Like many countries around the world, Fiji remains at risk if our vaccination rates fall below 95 percent," it added.
