The housing charity Habitat for Humanity is aiming to rebuild and repair up to 500 homes in Tonga after the widespread detruction from Cyclone Gita in February.
CEO Claire Szabo told Jenny Meyer the charity is hoping to not only rebuild damaged homes but also teach Tongan families vital contruction and repair skills they can use and pass on into the future.

Claire Szabo says Habitat for Humanity has just launched a Cyclone Gita appeal for the Tonga project and will start next month with repairs on an initial 300 damaged homes.
