There is election fever in Solomon Islands as provincial voters stuck in the capital scramble for space onboard ships bound for their home constituencies.
There is no out-of-constituency voting in Solomon Islands so provincial candidates in past elections often chartered ships to ferry their supporters to and from the polls.
New electoral laws however forbid the practice so election candidates and their supporters are having to improvise.
