Unexploded ordnances littered across Solomon Islands

Since 2023, 'The Halo Trust' an organisation dedicated to clearing landmines, has been in Solomon Islands conducting a survey on the country's airfields, ammunition stores and former military encampments, as part of a nation-wide assessment of Unexploded Ordnances left behind by World War Two battles on its shores.
