Two years after his Hello Sailor band mate Dave McArtney died, Graham Brazier also passed away on 4 September 2015 from a heart attack. The news devastated the local music industry. For many, Hello Sailor were part of the soundtrack of their lives.
Prior to his passing Graham Brazier had been spending every Thursday night with OMC Producer Alan Jansson, laying down tracks to complete his final album, Left Turn at Midnite.
This highly anticipated album is released May 5th, the day before what would have been Brazier’s 65th birthday.
For RNZ Music Trevor Reekie talks to producer Alan Jansson, long time friend Kelly Addis who helped enable the album and Hello Sailor band-mate and fellow road warrior, Harry Lyon.
