The Eating Disorder Association of New Zealand (EDANZ) has expressed concerned that the Health Star rating adorning products on supermarket shelves may have negative impacts for those living with eating disorders.
A recent survey they conducted found 80 per cent of respondents believed the current system had negative outcomes.
The EDANZ is now launching a petition asking the House of Representatives urge the Government to incorporate voices with lived experience of eating disorders into a review of the system.
