Today is World Soil Day - so it's timely to speak to a man who is leading the call for a change to the way we view soil.
Rod Lidgard is from Waste-MINZ - the largest representative body of New Zealand's waste, resource recovery and contaminated land sectors.
He's the lead author of a paper urging the government to treat soil as a resource- not as waste.
