Critical health staff who are infected with Omicron can now return to work on Covid wards.
Infected staff who work in other hospital departments can also come back to work earlier - on day six if they return two negative Rapid Antigen Tests.
The changes come as hospitals grapple with rising hospitalisations and critical staff shortages.
There were almost 24,000 cases of Covid-19 reported today.
