Govt releases six-year plan on impact of climate change

Faced with the growing impact of climate change, the government has released a six year plan discussing the thorny issue of whether some coastal areas need to be abandoned altogether.

Preparing for the impact flooding, wildfire, droughts, and sea level rises, it also raises the question about who will bear the cost if some areas are assessed as unlivable, and residents need to be relocated.
