Govt pledges to power up Kiwibank to take on competitors

The Government has pledged to power up Kiwibank to take on its Australian competitiors - seeking a half billion dollar injection from local investors. It comes after a Commerce Commission's investigation and report in August, which called out a lack of competition in the sector - dominated by the big four Australian banks.
