Teams assessing damage and checking on residents after tornado

Teams have spent the day assessing the damage and checking on residents following Sunday morning's devastating tornado in the Northland town of Mangawhai. Northpower said crews today discovered there is much more damage to the network than initially thought, including to a transformer and two additional poles have been cracked and  need to be replaced.
