After facing pressure from New Zealand, the Pacific nation has dropped a proposal to create its own passports. The Cook Islands Prime Minister Mark Brown was pushing for local passports as part of the country's 60th self-goverance celebrations this year, and he wanted Cook Islanders to still retain New Zealand citizenship. This all comes as tensions rise over the Pacific nation's closer co-operation with Beijing. Amy Williams filed this report.
