Parents reconnecting landlines to avoid smartphones' pitfalls

A lot of people have ditched their landlines in favour of relying on mobile phones. But some parents are reconnecting them to avoid the pitfalls of smart phones for young children while allowing them to stay connected to their mates. According to Commerce Commission figures, there's still around 573,000 landline services in New Zealand.
