Death of fatally injured man now homicide case

The death of a man who was fatally injured in a Wellington suburb the same night as a nearby home invasion is now being treated as a homicide. Police were searching for an intruder who was disturbed in a Darlington Road house in Miramar on March 17, when they discovered another man unconscious and badly injured on the street. 63 year old Abdul Nabizadah later died in hospital from his head injuries. Detective Inspector Nick Pritchard explained to Lisa Owen why police have upgraded the investigation.
