An on-farm sale was held on Wednesday at the Silverstream Charolais and Herefords Stud at Motukarara in Canterbury.
Brent and Anna Fisher put 75 of their two-year-old bulls up for auction, but with farmers tightening their belts, prices were back a bit compared to last year's sale.
