Community gardens to help feed Fiji

A New Zealander staying in Fiji has turned his attention to helping keep people fed, as a former health minister urges Fijians to eat less and to grow their own food due to shortages.

Covid-19 cases and deaths continue rise with 791 new infections yesterday and 3 deaths.

NBR publisher and owner Todd Scott is in Port Denarau, where he's now focused on helping to create community gardens to keep people fed during the unprecedented crisis.

He spoke with producer Matthew Theunissen.
