A new film celebrating Māori identity, wāhine, and the beauty of te ao Māori, hits the big screen today - just in time for Matariki.
Kōkā, directed by Kath Akuhata-Brown, follows the journey of kuia Hamo and a disconnected young wahine, Jo, as they travel across Aotearoa on a road trip of healing and self-discovery.
