3:00 Classic Concert: UB 40 - Live At Montreux
UB40 formed in 1978 as a working class political group naming themselves after the British unemployment benefit form - a UB40, but over the ensuing years they moved away from their trademark left-wing politics and became more of a pop reggae covers band. They have had more top 40 hits than any other reggae act and have popularized the genre more then any of the artists that they cover. This concert features material from throughout their 14 year career to this 2002 recording date, ranging from the politically charged "One in Ten", to the soulful US number 1 hit "Red Red Wine" and the funky "Rat In My Kitchen" (Eagle Records)
