Hopes the thousands of tonnes of toxic waste stored in Mataura would be removed this year are now gone.
Mediation has been ongoing between the parties involved, and in a minute issued a short time ago, Environment Court Judge Laurie Newhook says hopes it would be removed before Christmas are now over.
