The Pike River Families group is preparing for a showdown with Solid Energy over a road block set up to stop the companies' trucks accessing the mine.
They've been handed legal access to the road leading to the mine by a local farmer and will stop all Solid Engery trucks from using it.
They plan to issue trespass notices to concrete trucks passing through.
