Pacific leaders aren't expecting a repeat of violence when Tonga plays the Kiwis in this weekend's Rugby League World Cup clash. Last week, in anticipation of Saturday night's Tonga Samoa match, violence erupted on the streets of south Auckland with fans using poles, sticks and even machetes. And just after the game on Saturday, 29 people were arrested; mostly for disorderly behaviour. The Minister for Pacific Peoples Aupito William Sio told our reporter Nita Blake-Persen there was a fantastic atmosphere in Hamilton for the game. He believes many of the most passionate fans have simply been misinterpreted, and he's not expecting such a raucus response ahead of this weekend's Tonga-New Zealand game.
