Charter school supporters protest closure plans

Supporters of charter schools are urging the government not to shut them down. Education Minister Chris Hipkins is planning a law change to stop new charter schools opening, and potentially close existing schools by the end of the year. A number of supporters gathered in Auckland's CBD to protest yesterday afternoon and RNZ reporter Tom Furley was there.
