Housing was an area the Labour party hammered the previous Government mercilessly on, accusing them of presiding over a crisis of rising unaffordability, falling home ownership, and growing homelessness. The new Labour-led coalition is confident its Kiwibuild programme can fix that. As part of RNZ's pre-budget special, we look at whether National did underinvest in housing, and if Labour can deliver on its promises.
