John McCain 'extremely influential' on Capitol Hill

Senator John McCain who died on Sunday will lie in state in the US Capitol this week - an honour given to few statesmen. Mr McCain served in Congress and the military as a Navy pilot and is remembered as a war hero after surviving more than five years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. People gathered outside the funeral home in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, to pay their respects as the hearse carrying his body arrived.
