Linwood shops re-open but customers not there

Christchurch businesses that were closed last week after the nearby Linwood mosque came under attack are struggling to attract customers now the cordon has been lifted. The eight shops that were behind the Linwood cordons as police investigated were given the all-clear to reopen on Thursday. But they are still waiting for customers to return, and to find out what compensation for lost income they might receive.
