Taupo fatal crash: First responders witness horror scene

Tokoroa's Fire and Emergency chief Dave Morris says over the next few days he will be keeping a close on crew who attended yesterday's horror crash north of Taupo. Eight people were killed after an SUV and van collided head on near. The driver of the van and six of its passengers were killed, as well as the driver of the SUV. The sole survivor, a nine-year-old boy, is in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital.
