Special education waiting lists grow despite increased support

Demand for specialist help for children with disabilities is outstripping the Education Ministry's ability to keep up. Figures provided under the official information act show the number of children on the ministry's waiting lists crept up in the year to the end of June, even though it is supporting more young people than ever. RNZ's education correspondent John Gerritsen reports.
