SDHB not keen on Queenstown being used for managed isolation

From Morning Report, 8:29 am on 8 July 2020

A lack of medical facilities in Queenstown is pushing it down a list of priorities for managed isolation.

The Southern DHB met yesterday to discuss plans by the government to expand its isolation facilities to the bottom of the South Island.

The board wants Dunedin and Invercargill to be used, ahead of Queenstown.

Chris Fleming is chief executive.
