Doctors and nurses who were preparing to face down Covid-19 as the lockdown hit, worry about complacency one year on.
It's a year this week since the country went into level four lockdown, as the virus surfaced and was already spreading, in communities all over the country.
The work they did had a lasting impact but they worry that because many New Zealanders haven't seen the worst of the virus, they forget how serious it is.
