Misinformation around Covid-19 and especially vaccines is escalating in New Zealand.
As New Zealand rolls out its vaccines - leaflets are appearing in letterboxes promoting vaccine hesitancy, there's been a spate of anti-mask flyers at train stations and also a locally produced magazine peddling pandemic conspiracy theories.
Kate Hannah is a cultural historian at Te Punaha Matatini and is leading a research project investigating misinformation and Covid-19.
She has been watching this escalation with alarm.
