High Covid-19 hospitalisations in Hawke's Bay is concerning general practice doctors.
More than 150 people in the region have been hospitalised during Omicron outbreak and in recent weeks Hawke's Bay has consistently had some of the highest hospitalisation rates.
One nurse told RNZ the hospital situation's "nuts", but Napier-based GP Dr David Rodgers says general practice doctors are under the pump too.
