An unprecedented leak from the US Supreme Court of plans to overturn the right to abortion nationwide has called into question the integrity of the court.
Protests are being held across the country and Vice-president Kamala Harris has called the potential reversal of the 1973 Roe v Wade decision an assault on freedom.
The chief justice called the leak a "betrayal" and said the Marshal of the Court will investigate the breach.
