Lower North Island meteor sighting explained

Not a bird - or a plane - but a meteor shooting across the skies above the lower North Island. Many couldn't believe their eyes - some describing it as a fireball, while others thought they saw a shooting star in broad daylight. Space scientist Duncan Steel, who was formerly with NASA, spoke to Morning Report.
