Report says 25 percent of children are living in poverty

New Zealand's first annual Child Poverty Monitor has been published - and it shows that more than 260-thousand children are living in poverty. According to the report, prepared by the Office of the Children's Commissioner, Otago University and the J R McKenzie Trust, the percentage of children in poverty has nearly doubled in the past three decades; from 14 percent in 1982 to 25 percent today.
