British singer-songwriter Beth Orton is returning to NZ in June to play three shows in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
Beth will be performing a set that promises to bring life to her back catalogue as well as showcase songs from her latest album Kidsticks. It’s an album for which Beth intentionally set out to challenge her creative process (and sound) by creating synth loops and collaborating with a number of ‘indie’ musicians in LA, London and Berlin.
For Music 101 Trevor Reekie talks to Beth Orton about her new album Kidsticks and her creative journey.
