Mac Miller produced a lot of music in his short career, ranging from breezy party starting anthems, to dark brooding insular reflections on his battles with mental health. His high profile break up with Ariana Grande made headlines this year, as did his DUI offence and subsequent police charges.
His family have issued a statement saying “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.”
