Singer-songwriter, television presenter and baby whisperer Anika Moa, performing songs from her album 'The Thinking Room' in RNZ's Helen Young Studio from 2001.
The songs performed are: 'God In His Culture', 'Good In My Head', 'Falling In Love Again', 'My Son', 'Holding Me High', 'Mother', 'Flowers For You', 'Everything's the Same', 'Youthful'.
As an 18 year old Anika was a finalist in the Smokefree Rockquest.

At 21 she released her first album Thinking Room, recorded in New York and financed by the major U.S.A. label, Atlantic Records. It was the late 1990s.
Since then Anika has forged a unique and successful career that has included five studio albums, three children's albums, two documentaries, radio presenting, several TV and podcast series, and winning the 2019 Best Presenter Entertainment trophy at the NZTV Awards.
For the 2002 release of her debut album The Thinking Room, Anika was invited to give her first live performance with a band in front of a studio audience for RNZ's Live @ Helens series.
