In Christchurch, the Inclusive Performance Academy has been giving people with disabilities the creative tools to tell their own stories on stage.

A recent performance uploaded to TikTok has captured the hearts of millions around the world, and even caught the attention of some very influential names in the entertainment industry.

One video, a performance of 'Summer Nights' from the musical Grease, has racked up over five million views.

The creative arts programme for young people living with disabilities is the brainchild of Fiona McKenzie, with her son Jasper helping bring the vision to life behind the scenes.
