Nowhere has been safe from the new sweeping tariffs imposed by the United States - not even tiny islands in the South Pacific with next-to-no US exports to speak of.
Norfolk Island, an external territory of Australia that lies in between the East Coast and New Zealand, has been hit with a 29 percent tariff.
Their chief magistrate, Leah Honeywood, says she's just pleased Norfolk Island is being recognised as distinct from Australia.
