Great news for Auckland's independent music and comedy venues.
A $100,000 fund has been launched by the Spark Arena Community Events Fund in support of the city's venues, financing high-spec equipment like microphone packages and professional DJ gear.
The pilot programme launched last year.
Emile is joined by Managing Director of Live Nation, Mark Kneebone, and Tom Anderson from Whammy Bar, which was a recipient last year.
